This painting is a result of a sad ending of an individual unknown to me. The individual died in a room at a store I frequent on a weekly basis. I was told of the individual's death by store personnel who know me. On my way home, I began to dwell once again on how fragile life really is for all of us. While I was thinking of the individual in the privacy of my home, this painting was formed by my mind's eye. I had to paint it. I don't know how to explain it. The individual died all alone in that room.
